CIU Cyprus International University was established on February 4, 1997 in Nicosia as a result of five years of study. In the 2001-2002 academic year, the University continued its education on the Nicosia Haspolat campus with two residential buildings, a data processing center, a student center, a university building and a college building. Today the university has 10 faculties (education, economic and administrative sciences, communication, fine arts, design and architecture, engineering, pharmacy, health sciences, agricultural science and technology, science and literature, law) and 54 undergraduate programs. in addition to ,The College of Health Sciences and Hotel Management, the College of Applied Sciences with two-year civic programs, the School of Professional Justice and the College of Occupational Health Sciences with 4-year programs there are the College of Applied Sciences, the College of Health Sciences and Vocational Schools with two-year programs, the College of Professional Justice and the School of Occupational Health Sciences.
